ERASE Hubs<\/strong><\/p>\n

Made from 7075-T6 aerospace aluminum, Erase hubs achieve the perfect balance of lightness and strength. Erase\u2019s road hubs weigh from 314g per pair, while their MTB hubs start at 335g per pair. With a larger ratchet diameter, yet a titanium freehub body, these hubs match the weight of the DT 240. This reduced weight, combined with maximum rigidity, enhances performance and improves power transmission.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The hubs feature a Grade 5 titanium freehub to prevent damage from sprockets and a ratchet system for efficient power transfer. The titanium freehub body resists notching and outlasts alloy or steel freehubs without adding significant weight. And the ratchet technology is one of the most reliable systems because 100% of the system surface engages when you put power on your pedals.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Erase hubs are designed for easy maintenance. You can open them by hand simply by pulling off the end caps. When you remove the freewheel from the rear hub, all the internal parts stay securely in place. Berd-specific hubs using a ‘hooked flange’ interface are the cleanest way to lace Berd spokes. Apart from normal road and mountain hubs, Erase offers two models with this interface. The system, licensed by Berd, features hooks on the hub shell for securing Berd spokes without the use of rods in traditional hubs.
