Its 42 mm profile marks the transition towards aerodynamic performance, offering higher efficiency on rolling terrain and a particularly smooth response when accelerating. Born from the SLR5 process \u2013 derived from our benchmark SLS5 MTB technology \u2013 Strada 42 combines Toray T1100 fibres, aerospace-grade resin and an ultra-precise layup to achieve a high-level weight \/ stiffness \/ durability ratio.<\/p>\n

DRC (Dynamic Response Comfort) improves vertical compliance and optimises power transfer, providing a more comfortable, more stable and more efficient ride over long distances.Moulded spoke holes (SpokeCore) guarantee a homogeneous, durable structure.\u00a0The asymmetric lacing (Offset) further enhances spoke tension balance and lateral stiffness without adding weight, contributing to precise, predictable handling.<\/p>\n

ERASE Hubs<\/strong><\/p>\n

Made from 7075-T6 aerospace aluminum, Erase hubs achieve the perfect balance of lightness and strength. Erase\u2019s road hubs weigh from 314g per pair, while their MTB hubs start at 335g per pair. With a larger ratchet diameter, yet a titanium freehub body, these hubs match the weight of the DT 240. This reduced weight, combined with maximum rigidity, enhances performance and improves power transmission.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The hubs feature a Grade 5 titanium freehub to prevent damage from sprockets and a ratchet system for efficient power transfer. The titanium freehub body resists notching and outlasts alloy or steel freehubs without adding significant weight. Erase hubs are designed for easy maintenance. You can open them by hand simply by pulling off the end caps. When you remove the freewheel from the rear hub, all the internal parts stay securely in place.
