Versatile within the aero universe, it performs as a full 56/56 set or as a front wheel paired with a Strada Æra 65 rear, delivering excellent crosswind stability, precise steering and high efficiency on both flat and rolling terrain.

Strada Æra 56 is the entry point into DUKE’s optimised aero range. It bridges the gap between the versatility of Strada wheels and the pursuit of pure speed of the taller Æra profiles – a model designed to ride fast, as often as you want, not just on race day.

With its 56 mm depth and signature Æra relief, developed using CFD simulation, it offers a measurable reduction in drag – up to 10% compared with a smooth rim of the same depth – while maintaining calm, predictable behavior in crosswinds. The goal: gain real aerodynamic benefit without fighting the wheel in gusts.

Based on the SLR5 process – the road evolution of our benchmark SLS5 MTB technology – Strada Æra 56 combines Toray T1100 fibres, aerospace-grade resin and an ultra-precise layup to deliver a high-level balance of weight, stiffness and reliability, despite its clearly speed-oriented profile.

DRC (Dynamic Response Comfort) optimises vibration damping and steering stability, for a more consistent feel at high speed and on imperfect tarmac. Moulded spoke holes (SpokeCore) guarantee a homogeneous, durable and reliable structure, whether drilled 20h or 24h.

With its 24 mm internal width, Strada Æra 56 is optimised for a 28 mm tyre – the modern standard for fast road riding. This combination allows lower pressures, improved comfort and grip, while maintaining very high rolling efficiency.
