WHEELS DUKE LUCKY STAR HD / URSUS XD31

The Lucky Star HD 6TERS are aluminium rims designed for all types of XC, XC racing andtrail riding. The front/rear widths are differentiated: 28mm/26mm or 30mm/28mmdepending on the tyre section.

They are characterised by good lateral stiffness and very good strength at a low weight, thanks in part to the use of Dynamal aluminium. The rims feature a new, modern, lower geometry with an asymmetrical profile and hookless walls. The rim holes are off-centre(offset), which makes it possible to close the spoke umbrella more tightly. This makes the rim more stable and increases the lateral stiffness of the wheel. The spoke tensions between the two plies are more balanced, which guarantees a better durability of the wheel. The hookless rim walls allow for both rim reinforcement and weight reduction.

URSUS XD31 

Hubs are 100% Made in Italy. The CNC-machined 7075/T6 aerospace aluminium body with a tolerance 0.005 mm and classic design are the essential features that define thise outstanding hubs without compromise. Extraordinary easy maintenance without the use of special tools, just open by pulling the freewheel out. ABEC 5 ball bearings, protected by optimized sealing, ensure effective protection against external agents and high-quality smooth movement.

The ratchet and 3 pawls system of the freewheel with 30 POE with 12 degrees engagement allows for quick and simple engagement, maximizing power transfer and facilitating maintenance. All these makes this hub practically indestructible thanks also to the steel axle (optional at no extra cost).
