The Baccara RX rims represent the latest generation of DUKE ”ALL ROAD” carbon wheels, lighter and stronger for faster riding.
They are suitable for both Road and Gravel use, thanks in particular to their 25mm internal width, which guarantees good versatility.
They benefit from our latest SLR2 manufacturing technology, which combines comfort, lightness and strength: our ”MAGIC MIX”:

– EXTREME COMFORT thanks to the use of specific resins and processes to filter out some of the vibrations
– ULTRA-LIGHT rim with a new lay-up and a new combination of fibers enabling a weight reduction of 50g compared to a conventional lay-up.
– FIREPROOF STRENGTH thanks to our shock-absorbing resin The range of rim profiles (27, 36, 42, 48 and 56mm) gives you a wide choice to suit your needs.

Aerodynamics have not been forgotten, with a reworked profile to improve air penetration and stability in all wind conditions, essential for performance.
The rim retains the use of hooks to ensure safety above all else, whatever tire is used.
Its unique VFP gloss finish is scratch-resistant and more environmentally friendly.
The asymmetrical profile balances the tension between the two sides of spokes, ensuring greater durability and wheel stability.
While the 25mm width between hooks gives a tire greater volume, improving comfort and grip without sacrificing performance.
Recommended tire widths are 28mm to 2.40″.
The best aerodynamics are obtained with 30mm tires. Rims are tubeless or tubetype with inner tubes compatible.

The seller of used wheels can transfer this Crash Replacement service to the buyer (it’s a selling point 😊). DUKE MAD MAX SP (straight Pull) HUBS

DUKE Mad Max hubs are 100% European design and manufacturing, synonymous with reliable and high quality products.

Titanium freewheel with 70 crans to reduce pedalling time. We carefully select our subcontractors to produce a hub that strictly meets our specifications. Also, machining, anodizing, laser engraving, are exclusively carried out in Europe, the assembly is carried out in our premises in the Vendée.Our experience as an artisanal wheel fitter gives us perspective on the concepts and technologies of the market. As a result, we offer you a hub that combines the best technologies available on the market while adding our exclusive Duke signature.

Stainless steel bearings. The DUKE MadMax SP hub has bearings that are offset as far outwards as possible to reduce the stress on the bearing and thus improve fluidity and durability. Its geometry is hyper-optimized: the spokes are straight pulls which avoids fatigue at the elbow level and allows to lower the weight of the pair of hubs by almost 10%.

Moreover the MadMax SP inaugurate black finishes of the most beautiful effect! The Titanium freewheel body is available in 40 teeth for road hubs and 70 teeth for MTB hubs.
